I put my first PC together many years ago now. It centered on an old AMD Athlon chip with DDR2 RAM. I couldn't for the life of me get the memory sticks into the RAM slots no matter what I did (Yes, they were the correct way round) and was just about ready to give up on the build entirely, so I had a cup of tea and left it alone for an hour or so. I came back to it and the RAM slotted right into the slots first time without a hitch! If you ever find yourself getting frustrated with a build, just walk away from it for a while - coming back to it after a rest with a clear head can solve a multitude of problems.

For sure you must not be intimidated. I am older enough to say that, from experience, building a pc was so difficult and delicate 20 years ago compared to now; components weren't so high quality enough to resist to discharge and other obstacles. Only problem would be just to assemble something the wrong way, but that would be feasible to solve if you know how to fix. The chance to break something is low, but caution is adviced. :) I started building pc at 13-14 and I broke up pieces until I have learned on my shoulder. I started in 2002-2003. :) I am sure you will make it.

Nice build. Flip the radiator fans so they're exhausting the air out the chassis rather than intaking from the outside. @ Mate, for starters this is in all in English so surely respond in English? Second of all, the 3 bottom fans and the 2 radiator fans are INTAKING air from outside the case meaning there's no positive airflow there as the top fans are only exhausting air. @@angioe interesting - I can't imagine how it would work so differently that air wouldn't go to the highest point in the system - or maybe they're so confident that no liquid will evaporate and each unit is filled 100%? For sure if you don't hear gurgling sounds and the system is full there is no difference- it's just a suggestion if you want to be really safe/perfect and you don't have a downside re-orienting it.. then, should evaporation occur sometime during the life of the build then you're somewhat protected (but also you probably will upgrade your pc by then so would I say its essential? my guess is no- I think kraken show it installed in their literature exactly as you have it.. so they can't think its THAT bad). The main thing is the pump is not the highest point in the system/the radiator is the highest point in the system. As I understand it- that's the only essential positioning rule. Happy new year :)

If the pump is gurgling or making a whining noise then yes, she'll need to move it. Most AIOs these days are pretty well filled so that there's not a lot of room in the tank to permeate. The thing with the NZXT Kraken CPU Cooler is that with AIO Coolers like the one here, they come with extra cables to enable the RGB: one super small cable to connect two (or more if the NZXT AIO Cooler is either the X73 or Z73) fans for the RGB, and one longer cable to go with the other cables to get the RGB on at all. Edit: I forgot to add that you might want to upgrade the storage and memory for that build, as 16GB for memory & 500GB for a single storage drive might not be enough in some situations.

@danypostika51752 жыл бұрын
Having them as exhaust fans seems good too, they pull the hot air inside the case and it flows upwards with the rest of the air, but even as intake fans they'd be good, you can't expect much of a difference since the O-11 series is mostly known for the aesthetics than the airflow

Awesome build, only thing is the fans are configured wrong. The aio radiator should be installed at he top of the case, and the intake fans should go where the radiator was. Also you need to put an exhaust fan on the left of the build and intake at the bottom. Other that that awesome build!

Nice build, the Lian Li case was a good pick.

Nice, the build looks really cool. I've built a pc, and i was so nervous. You, on the other hand, felt so calm, especially for a first build. I'd just recommend you to upgrade the 500gb ssd to at least 1TB, to store your games and recordings.

Nice job for your first build. Just a little trick for next time, keep the motherboard on the antistatic bag it comes in, when you mount stuff. Not that i have ever had problems with static electricity, and i have been building PC's since the 486 days , but just to be safe :)
