Building My Own TCG Dragunity List: Deck Profile and Combos

WARNING: This is just my opinions as a non-TCG player. DO NOT take this as an optimal way to play in TCG! This is how I would start MY TCG journey, if I decided to start playing NOW (unlikely). I would optimize as I continue playing, of course. I probably didn't take into consideration many TCG specific stuff, so be nice! :D Fun facts: - Nibiru + Small World = Remus access [Nib (hand) ---- same 600 DEF ----- Senatus (deck) ---- same WIND attribute ---- Remus (search)] - You can search Mourner with Crystal Clear Wing. - Seyfert + Phalanx = Remus access.

lowkey i think we are at a point with so much intereaction in TCG that we might have to just find a new route for the combo cause gae loops for zeph and samsara just leave so many choke points when calamity was legal centurion as an engine closed alot of the gaps but took alot of hand trap space but im sure there is something to be found we can use for new routes that might be better

hey, how do u consistently play around nib with no baby roc also whats the board looking like with out ravine access with say senatus only play in hand also i think vaj is way better to have consistency in the extra deck for follow up plays also help u play through some handtraps better instead of having stardust chengying i also am an enjoyer of horus with sp little knight but that can cause probs with extra deck space but thats my opinion with the tcg i am an enjoyer of the pixie hot red line tho

also fenrir is a one card full combo that also helps going second cause its fenrir and can help play through hand traps

- You can use Ringowurm, which is basically a better Baby Roc, to go into CW on 5th summon. - I have a guide on how to play Dragunity without Ravine access, and I also have many videos that showcases how I play without a Ravine access, in opening hand. - I enjoy the Quick-Synchro setup a lot, so I build my deck with that in mind. Personally, I think Dux + Vaj are a bit outdated. I'd rather play a 2nd Guisarme since I think it's the superior normal summon, atm. - I don't like playing non-Dragon Extra Deck monsters, unless they serve the combo. SP doesn't do anything for us and it conflicts with our OTK potential, anyway. - I enjoy playing the Horus engine and the Kashtira engine, in dragunity, as well. I just went with the simpler approach, here, sincec I'm putting myself in the mindset of playing in the TCG for the 1st time ever.

A bit out of field, but considering how dragunity used Crimson Dragon: will the new blue eyes Spirit ultimate dragon affect dragunity as a viable target?

It's a decent card, but if we're going to cheat out a Lv.12 Dragon Synchro monster, with Crimson Dragon's effect, we have a better target in " Cosmic Blazar Dragon ".

You can definitely play more Tactics, if you want, ofc. I'm just not used to playing with tactics in MD, since I have to make room for the Maxx C package, which limits the number of non-engine I could play. That's all. In that side deck, I put it at 1 because I could search it with thrust and, most likely, I would only ever get 1 use out of Tactics, in a game, anyway.

I don't like Pot cards in Dragunity. I value my main deck cards too much, since there are a lot of 1-ofs. Also, I value all my extra deck cards, so even you wanna play something like Prosp, you would just go for 3 instead of 6. I don't think Pot cards are worth it in our deck and I'd rather play Small World instead.

What is the utility of 3x Senatus? Imo is completely useless. Instead I Would play 1 Dux and make it 48 cards

The idea was to maximize my starters. Plus, Senatus is a hand trap magnet. Dux is unfortunately very slow, atm. You're better off with a 2nd Guisarme, tbh, which the better Normal Summon.
