Yes!!! This is exactly the video I wanted. I am starting from scratch as I have decided to get rid of all my makeup and start from scratch as I realized all my powder makeup was bought pre COVID and has expired. Am curious about the the dark blue/green/teal was in one of your palette seen at 3:20 I have been on a quest to find a dark teal matte for lining out my lashes to bring out the amber in my eyes. Thank you

Ooh that sounds so pretty!! That is actually a shade depotted from the Glamlite Dirty Martini palette, which I don't think you can buy new anymore. I also have similar shades from the Beauty Bay Earthy palette and from Lisa Eldridge (the shade's called Troubadour, I think). I know you can get Lisa's shades as singles. The only thing is that that formula is on the sheerer side, so it might not be the easiest to use as a liner. DandylionsCo is an indie brand that has tons of interesting matte shades, so you might find a similar color there. Good luck on your search!

How did you make your pallets for singles from ordinary pallets?
@Old.Tea_6 ай бұрын
@@sino7548 hi, sorry for the slow reply! I would like to make a video about this but haven’t gotten to it yet. Some of my diy palettes were originally magnetic (Colourpop), so those ones were the easiest. For other brands, I use an X-acto knife to very carefully cut around the border of the palette before depotting. You can find tutorials for depotting cardboard palettes, but basically the idea is to slowly cut and peel the cardboard away layer by layer, then remove the pans themselves. My favorite way to loosen the pans is to heat the palette gently on a heating pad and then use dental floss to get under the glue. After removing the pans, I glued in a thin sheet of magnet to any non-magnetized palettes. You just have to make sure you cut the cardboard down deep enough that the palette will still close. Oh, and don’t despair if you break eyeshadows in the process, check out faces by Gina on instagram for tips on dry repressing! I highly recommend depotting, I love my singles so much :)
