Buy 2 or 3 battery impact drivers. You will put a bit in your hand or finger before y'all finish with that drill. That's for drill bits or hole saws. A spinning bit hitting your skin, torx or phillips, will jack you up. The battery chargers work with generators. Dewalt batteries take to long to charge. I do home additions, remodeling, and renovating and use makita battery power tools. I have an impact I've used 5 days a week since 2013 and it's still going strong.

So, NEXT time, put 6 posts in. Then 3 beams of doubled up 2x4s on top of those posts. Then that frame work you made on top of those. Blocking between your floor joists. The way you have it there, you're depending on the sheer strength of the screws to hold the building and and contents up. Screws are not strong with sideways sheer. Spikes are more so, but letting the post carry the weight is better.

I work for a retired contractor in his 70s and we do just 2 man jobs and I’ve learned to do a lot of stuff like this and the so many cool tips and tricks an old experienced man would have after doing the job for 40 years. Small tip for the metal, lay all the sheets out and mark your holes on the top sheet, drill threw the holes all the way threw and all your screw holes are perfectly evenly marked

lol please do not do what they did in this video. 2x4s are not strong enough for floor joist or rafters which is why they were moving so much when they walked on them. Studs in the walls are suppose to be 16" on center and no header on the window or door.
