I don’t understand why everyone who builds a “monorail” type system doesn’t make them longer. I found a way around the 1000 meter “structure is too large “ situation and went all the way around my island. I built it in survival and is completely constructed from granite because wood is too weak. Currently it’s about 32,000 meters and I’ve harvested roughly 200,000 stone for the project. It’s all the way north,south,east and west and I’m putting in new sections now in areas I haven’t really been in yet. Has cut my travel time down 80%. I can go coast to coast in 15 minutes.

After getting the direction how did you know the 16x4 pieces where centre, so that when you dropped the 3dynamic pieces on where still centre? Is when your shifting the directional pillar out you shift it as far as you can go right and now you come off the pillar as far as you can go left? Is the how you know it's lined up left & right? How did you @5:46 that was centre left n right? Don't mind me my brain ain't working properly right now it's Friday afternoon and the last hour of work for the week . I just need to get home and try it in practice 😊 i got all night
@GrindGeek2 ай бұрын
Hey, when I set the first 16x4 foundation piece I was aiming the crosshair on the directional pillar I had set so that it would turn to the same direction as the monorail will go. After that I used the first 16x4 to snap onto and nudge over as far as I could before snapping in the others in place. This way everything is pointing in the new direction, if not you will end up with a twist in the line which you probably don’t want.

@GrindGeek5 ай бұрын
Hey, I haven’t had issues with the rail breaking so I’m not sure but I have noticed sometimes that once you change direction some connecting pieces may not line up exactly which may be causing a weak spot that the car breaks when it passes over.
