Roughly the cost of septic tank was Stones - 600 usd Steel - about 100 usd Labour- 800 usd Timber boards 60 usd Cast Iron leads - 210 usd.

How do you work out sending money to Zim ? From my experience , transfer fees using world remit and western union are very costly.

Yes the fees are high but we just consider the fees as the cost of doing business. We don’t have much of a choice because of the situation in Zimbabwe.

Building materials in Zim are overpriced it will take you years to finish compared to other African countries., We too,put our double storey under the pillow and done a three bed cottage

my advice is , if u can, juss save up your money and go buy your building material in SA once off, u will save 40% of the amount, remember the people we arebuying from in zim are actually buying from SA, and also if ucant afford, dont go for the expensive contracters and all , coz of the name, the difference will work out to be the same at the end of the day trust me

@@maxchixk7355 if I heard correctly , they said vakabhadhra about 61k for labour, surveyors, engineers etc, now if u look at that figure and put it against the 200k almost , yavashandisa to date, it means almost 30% yaenda to cover those expenses asiri directly into production which is way way too much, and material yavo is way way too expensive, so that’s why ndataura kudaro, go buy yo stuff from SA, don’t go for expensive contracters juss because of the name, but if u have the money hako like this beautiful couple then that’s okay

With many people the moment you mention you are building you get told that relatives needs money too "Black Tax". HELP!!!!
