Better safe than sorry! My dad built our house and went above and beyond with the cisterna. Our Colonia frequently runs out of water but since our cisterna is so big we don't run out as much. Fidel's done a great job!!

Hi Candice,I am so excited for your house to be finished, been here from day 1,we built our home in Mexico some 20 plus years ago and these videos take me back.when it was time to build our home my husband said make a plan on how you would like our home,at that time housing was booming here where we live in the USA so there were alot of model homes,they give out the floor plan to those homes so i pucked the home i liked ,my husband took his measuring tape measured every window,door,wall ,kitchen,etc,etc and we sent that to his Father and they built it!!! We also used local labor ,materials etc as you are doing.We had a couple of mess ups because at the time my husband was working here and couldn't be there,but nothing that couldn't be fixed..lol,now we're retired and go back n forth...my question is will you have someone come help you clean your house? Cuz my house is 2400 sq ft ...i can do it but i have to do it in sections..lol,im older now too.I have a girl who comes and deep cleans once a week.

love it!! and I keep saying I'd love to build a Mexico construction style home just like yours here in the states. They are doing foam block homes but that is probably the closest. You are correct in not giving a cost of the home.. My clients just built a 3 bdr with finished basement in a small town and was a bargain at $340,000. I "think" you gave a sneak peek into Fidel working on a development in the future etc He should be a contractor and build houses for clients. I am pretty sure ya'll aren't finished, I see a barn in your future and a shop for Fidel at the very least

Beautiful home! Fidel did great by over compensating. You can never be sure about anything anymore. I love how excited Pika got. Her little bottom was wriggling, so adorable.
