This must be a great deal because Prologis do a really great lease, albeit long term, on brand spanking new warehouses for reasonal per sfq. Having said that, with a bit of refurbishment, you'd be able to modernise it with little effort. All the best lads!

How many people you need to ship 5k orders a day?

Hey Jorge! Well, there's a few factors that go into figuring that out. Considerations include the SKUs, distance to locations (and if the locations are optimized), make up of orders, i.e. do you ship mostly the same single item or is there lot's of variability in the orders? Are there pickers and packers, or is that role shared? Without knowing that, it's a bit of a guess - we see in a typical warehouse with bulk shipping for example, 3 people handle 5k orders in a day. That said, there's a big difference between bulk shipping 5k orders of a single item, and shipping many different orders of different skus and kits. I recommend at least a discussion on your current setup and where you plan on taking it so we can get a realistic estimation on team size. What if a lot of variabilily like 4-5 items per shipment and bulky/large non sortable items? How many people needed? Note: Picker and Packer are not shared
