Great video. Where did you get the rc parts for the tank..?

Purchased online through the website Taobao. You should be able to find similar parts on Amazon. Cheers!

You'd be surprised at how chipped the chally gets! All a silver chippingfornthe chabome armour I've noticed aswell watching the real thing in training vids etc on here I'm building the Scots Dragoon one just now I'm normally ww2 armour but have all those modern armour kits in stash I'll start Tes next but wanting to do this one with a British and Ukraine 🇺🇦 flying from it or have it someway with a Ukraine 🇺🇦 flag I've got the camo info for the ones heading to Poland just now think they sent 23 chally 2s last week!

Note about the challenger and paint chipping, They chip to all high hell in real life due to all sorts of wear, don’t think there’s a single operational tank that isn’t covered with bits of paint missing like a bad acne teenager

I would expect modern paint jobs to be quite resilient even in active combat, but this is great to know! I'd love to see one up close some day.

What brand and type of receiver board and transmitter radio did you use, and where did you purchase them? Any help or information that you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Also, what did you use to make the turret rotation details?

Enjoyed your vid. I've recently bought the Tamiya desertised version. Music is a bit loud compared to your narration 😉

I purchased a Tamiya Twin Motor Gearbox 70097 for around US$6.5, and an 8 channel RC receiver and controller kit for around US$6 online in Hong Kong. However, I am unable to find these products for a reasonable price in US or European markets. You'll should be able to find some deals in your local RC car shop.

Hello. How much do you thin ammo paints?(for airbrush)

I am planning on buying this and convert it to RC. But I am not sure on how do you remove the gearbox when you need servicing? my previous rc converted model kit has a path so the gearbox shaft can get in and out easily.
@abcmodeling2 жыл бұрын
The gearbox is basically not meant to be serviced outside the model. That's why I used a high quality Tamiya one that I know will last a while. If I really need to take it out, the sprocket's shaft can slide out and the gearbox will be freed. I do recommend you to hot glue the gearbox in place so as to reduce vibration though. Good luck on your project.

How long is the width of the 'long build process'? 2:56
@abcmodeling2 жыл бұрын
I believe it was around 3 months of assembling and also implementing the electronics into the tank. That was all during school days so it took so long. Constantly cutting, sanding and gluing does get tedious. It has cost me MANY hours. But now I think it's worth it ;)

You may want to try some preshading, your painting style is VERY heavy. Presiding and very thin paint at low pressure will help your model seem more realistic. You will find you won't need such a heavy hand with weathering. Right now it seems you weather to highlight. That's how a lot of people paint in the beginning. I have taught hundreds of disabled Veterans how to build, paint and weather. I can help you if you would like.
@abcmodeling2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the advice! I'll look into the method you described and see how it goes.

Good job, good video apart from the music spoilt it so much I watched what I could stand of it in silent. You were so quiet and the music was so loud it just didn't work. Loved the model tho.

Thanks for the feedback! I do have to agree, that is an issue that will be fixed in the coming video.
