Minnesota IBEW LEA (low voltage) just voted yes on their new contract. International gave Minnesota the right to strike. I am disappointed that this talented group of people decided again to show contractors that they are afraid to negotiate. The vote was 290+ no and 600+ yes. I know that most of our membership is voting for Trump. Our negotiating team is mostly made of electricians who wish to remove our members from the industry like in St. Louis Missouri. My grandfather lost a lung in a riot with the Pinkertons . He was a forming member of LU #12 Pittsburgh. The Midwest did not see the strife that their brothers, sisters and their families went through to get them where we are. I am ashamed of our lack of foresight and respect for the sacrifices that were paid decades before they ever started working.

not unless you are a Low Voltage worker in Minnesota. They are a scared bunch of pansies. International gave approval to strike. The pansies wilted. We are very weak.
