It was probably released around `87. It's a 86" cab. I have a Alan Royer T-600 conversion kit. That came out around the same time. He used fiberglass. Also have his roof cab to make the McLaughlin high rise sleeper. Good job Ben!

Like to see these rare ones recast again. The clear plastic is a certain type, I read about it. It yellows and there's no way to reverse it, just make a new one with better material. Older Special Hobby models have a tendency to do that.

So what kit would you use for the chassis? I'm assuming it's a conversion kit.

Yes, it's a cab conversion kit. The best donor kit for the chassis would be an ERTL IH 4070B Transtar II Kit. However any truck chassis could be modified to work.
