Im assuming, you prob didnt find the number next to the speed is how many machines do you need for 1 full belt 😆 also based on how much math u did, only thing to look for is with the cutter the speed is 2xSpeed, so the 2 outputs 😁 (Also I would love to watch u play factorio or other games like it)

The ultimate goal of Shapez is to make the game play itself by building a "Make Anything Machine". If you do it right you'll end up with a fully automated factory that can produce any shape the game requests without any player input whatsoever. It's not an easy challenge but it's super satisfying when you get it right.

@@Nevir202 There is a whole logic system with various components like logic gates, etc. Through logic you can "read" the requested shape and split it into it's components parts and then use that information to control your factory to make and stack the requested shapez.

Personal opinion it doesn't matter what games you play as long as you enjoy it, do it. As a small KZbinr I've learned something don't get stuck thinking about the numbers KZbin tells you otherwise you're going to end up getting yourself stuck or burned out. I might be growing slowly but I'm enjoying every moment of my time.

I've always loved these types of games. The first of these types of games I played was the flash game "Factory Balls", but it was more of a logic-type game, not automation. I've also played the original Shapez, and it definitely has automation. But there's another game that's similar to it that I absolutely love; Minedustry. It's a factory and automation game, but with the addition of being a strategy type game, like Halo Wars. If you enjoy these games, I highly recommend playing it.

I do enjoy the initial setup of each shape. What I absolutely don't like about these games is the tedium of waiting for shapes to be fully delivered and the fact, that the initial shapes are all so similar. It just gets boring really quickly.

You can always start a new tasks, there are many. But i kinda agree, once you got like all the blueprints for stuff it get repetitive, you place down a whole production line in a few minutes and then its onto the next

@@mike2672 While there are always new tasks, often you don't have the space to set up these new tasks and you have to wait for earlier tasks to finish, so that you can make room. That is what I meant.

There's not a lot of customization you can do with trains in this game sadly. It's just train spawns, goes to train stop, repeat. Nothing like Factorio train programming.

this game is fire, i bought it and the original and i basically finished the first one, and i just unlocked the pegs in this one. im so excited to get more into it when i get some time. also you dont need to calculate how many buildings you need, if you have a full conveyor, you only need as many as the number next to the amount per min, and it calculates as you upgrade, it will even say like 4.8 or 3.2 for the different kinds of stackers with a couple upgrades and for the non-destroying cutters you can split one input conveyor into 4, but you need 2 output conveyors because 8 outputs on 1 output conveyor overloads it (nvm he thought about that) orientation is very important when cutting and stacking as well for future reference, pay attention when stacking. and when you have a 4 layer shape, having a pair of 6 stackers each, so the layers can be made at the same time, going into a 3rd layer of 6 stackers so you have a full belt on top and bottom, then a full output belt.

The cut and paste tools are great in this game and the ability to flip and rotate chunks, means you can upscale the craziness very quickly, especially once you start working on all 3 levels.

You have a total of 16 feed points into tge void, if you output 240 per minute, why not use 4 belts instead of letting it choke?

Love this game, but through the play-through I'm yelling at the screen: Copy-Paste. Also, the game tells you how many machines you need per belt; you don't need to calculate it. Just pull two belts for a stacker, and split to 2 belts after every set of 4 cutters.

Get the swapper for 8, it'll make life a lot easier. Especially for the diagonal shapes which you'll need a lot. Also, side-exit stackers work faster. And if you want to minimize space used, you can stack cutters above each other. Before you geet swapper in order to make half-circle/half-square shapes or any other configuration, be careful with orientation of what comes out of the cutters so that one shape orients in opposition of the other to fuse as a whole.
