I've seen you do Power snatch + snatch and do that clean high pull + clean before on this rebuild, is this to keep work on the long pull?

Actually I do it so I don’t feel like I’m making the pull too long. I try to keep it short because it’s only going to the shoulders. Long pulls in the clean result in a crash often times. You can’t pull it super high with max weights anyways. So instead of calling it a clean high pull it’s more of an exaggerated short Pwr Cln.

The short Power Clean also helps me finish with my hands more instead of over extending my body. If you look closely I stop the bar with my hands and upper body for the catch without it actually touching my shoulders. It helps with timing and control.

I do power + full combos to feel like I’m completing the movement. The power reminds me to complete the movement when I go full the next rep.

@@ALEEWeightlifting I appreciate the explanation, this is a helpful tip for me as I have a bad habit of basically power cleaning then rising the weight down and when it gets heavy I feel like I don't have enough room to get under but watching back on video I have pulled the bar way high enough. Keep up the videos I enjoy watching you lift.
