Large roof over hangs are beautiful and protect the doors, windows and siding from rain and moisture damage. Water is the enemy of buildings. Architects and home builders need to bring back large roof over hangs

Absolutely! Well said👍 Long-term thinking is not standard in the homebuilding world, but should be for anyone concerned about protecting their investment. Homes need to be designed and built to last an infinite amount of time and deep overhang should be a part of every design Thanks for contributing to the conversation!

What is the average size of a home, when you are giving the average utility costs?

Could be any size home as the primary energy demand of the house depends on how often a family or person uses the appliances That said the passive standard for heating and cooling energies is 15 KWK / m² per year For example, if a 1200 ft.² house (110 m² ) uses less than 1650 kWh for heating and cooling energies over the course of a year, it is considered a passive house

And 29% of the households in Canada are just one person. Houses sized for them are extremely rare.

That’s an amazing point to add to the conversation, thank you! There are always areas to reduce the size of a home for unused space. For the simple reason of affordability the overall trend can only become “just build smaller“

No pricing here, couldn't find any pricing on your website. I have a feeling you are really expensive.
