Thank you so much for sharing this. We live in the South bay area and the soil is exactly like those. I can't wait to show this video to my friends and families. We need good ground/soil to hold onto the rain, otherwise it just get washed away.

Her being from Kansas , her energy and the way she talks reminds me of Abby the spoon lady here on you tube that is also from kansas. Nice system she has going there.

Chips, chips, chips! They're great on our shit-clay. Been using 'em in the home/personal/family garden for near a decade. Finally made a friend in the Arborist business to where I could scale it up to The Market Garden last year. Trials went better than expected. By the end of this year we're gonna have 1/3 or so of our production beds under chip. Why not all? Because seeders, that's why. Would recommend befriending a local Arborist. ... and a local Cattleman ... and a local Horse boarder Free soil is the shit ... HEADS UP: A **LOT** of labor though. I envy you folk with good native/natural soil.

I love Weeds, I hand pull them and bury them, if they have seeds I put the seeds in the trash but I stay ontop of it so its really rare... I see it as free organic matter...
