After fighting the system time and time again; long story short my son was finally placed with me at the age of 19. His demeanor is much that of chronologically 12-13 in sense of alienating himself indoors highly addicted to gaming as that's all he knew up to this point. What's the best approach to changing his mindset into becoming who he deserves to be?

Sorry for the delay. Thank you for your question. Jeff and I are grateful that you listened to the show. Changing mindset...great question. 1) Don't give up...time, patience, prayer for him and you. 2) You can't change him, but you can change you, and the way that you respond to challenging situations. 3) Remember the three main point of our show: a) honesty - you don't have to be perfect b) help - please reach out to others who have expertise in this area. There's no shaming in not knowing what you don't know. 3) humility - approaching this with love, acceptance, strong direction. Peace and blessings. Brian

Thanks for you question. I'm sorry for your pain. Prayer, time, patience, and the things we discussed about "honesty, getting help (friends, counseling, support groups...perhaps for you first), and humility." Peace to you.

People have created a assault on the young men. They humiliate them and one way is remembering, recording sin's forever. The chio support that gets ordered can be impossible and that makes bad policies and economy look better than it is at the same time. A whole segment of the men have been cut out of any hope for having a house, shelter and all they need to do is is allow enough people that can have those things and then nobody knows righ from wrong.
