Love this video. It would be great to combine the vtt and real live experience in this way.

That's something I'm working on for one of my next videos! I'm planning on building an animated battlemap to play on my game table (with a tv screen) and see if it would be interesting to combine it with these types of terrain buildings! I've got a couple ideas I'd love to play around with

I really like the magnets idea! Really practical, so that you can easily use those multiple times
@CrossheadStudios11 ай бұрын
Yeah, it's really sturdy as well. I had worked with a bunch of clipping variants before, but magnets really take things to the next level. A gaming board with magnets is next to see how far I can take the idea

Amazing!! I dream on doing this for a 1087 Chepstow Castle.

One of the next models we're working on is a Castle/Keep of a similar style! A smaller model to get us started, and if that's a success I'd love to build a gatehouse next and maybe after that a full-blown castle. (Was looking at Castle Ravenloft for a possible build)

This looks awesome! Where can I find the materials you used? I can't find the link in the description

Totally forgot to link the materials! I'll do that when I get back from holidays

How large was the paper you used?

You might try a good hot glue gun (like surebonder) which can do thin joints like those. For joints that need more time to get just right they make uv cured glue. For automated cutting you could try a cricut rather than a laser, cheaper and made to cut cardboard/vinyl/fabric.

Yeah I might try a hot glue gun, thanks for the tip! I actually bought a cricut but it had a bunch of issues why it wouldn't work. Ended up sending it back, I did get a tip to get my hands on a cheap laser cutter (you can get the bare bones ones for the price of a cricut) so I'm going to test that next!
