That looks very nice Collin! The new techniques you are using makes the kit look realistic! One tip I have is to save the pin wash after the painting process. I couldn't exactly see the effect after the olive drab coat. The preshading however was very well executed and I could not have done better! Great job again Collin, keep up the amazing work!

An entertaining video again. The reversed pre shading is working out great. It gives a realistic effect. Wonder who would ever give a dislike to your video? Perhaps you could try to step up a little again and fill ejector pin holes and small openings and crevices that shouldn't be there? That would add a new item to your nice video's again and enhance the realism of your models. There are many products to do that but with Revell putty, Vallejo putty and Deluxe materials Roket Hot cyanoacrylate glue combined with the Roket powder of the same manufacturer you should be able to fill about any size crevice or hole without much extra work in most cases. Keep challenging yourself!

@qdc748a8 жыл бұрын
The decal is not of the highest quality.
@Luca-rf3dz8 жыл бұрын
QDC, if you want to prevent the silvering of decals as seen at 14:14 you need to apply a gloss clear coat, then add the decal and then put a matte clear coat on that.
@qdc748a8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice. I think the issue here is more of the actual decal itself. These are thick decals and not the high end stuff. As best as I understand it, classic kits from Tamiya are not made in Japan anymore but in another country.

Great build as always qdc, I was wondering if you or anyone watching this video could give me some advice on applying Tamiya decals on their vehicles, I usually just fill a small bowl with tepid water and dip the decals in there for a short while, but sometimes when I apply them on to the vehicle they set straight away and I am unable to adjust them correctly which can be annoying as the rest of the build went great, was just hoping on some advice, on a better way maybe ? thanks for any help
