Building the 1969 Chevy Nova SS: 1/25 Scale Model Kit by Revell

Trouble free assembly with all pieces fitting perfectly, high quality parts with 2 builds options
Highly recommend this kit if you come across it!
I used Spray cans for majority of the painting along with brush painting some Tamiya Acrylics.

everything is great - but that body looks like it is a full vinyl cover I got that FX on a real car paint job hood because I did not let the paint dry at all before I started the engine

I enjoyed building this kit as well. Might I suggest next kit using Tamiya spray paints? They go on a lot smoother than the Painters touch sprays. Otherwise great job on the video and the build!

Wet sanding can do wonders

Tamiya paints are the way to go! That's all I use anymore.

I was surprised how well the parts fit I really like the kit. The one problem I had was the decals, I had to really soak the decals and then use an x-acto knife to get under them came out ok just took time maybe I got a bad sheet? But great kit.

I have those problems with decal sheets too! I find that using very warm water helps a lot.

did you clear coat all your parts? I see no fingerprints or smearing of paint

I do not use clear coat, I did a few times in the past but the paint would bubble and ruin the model.

Where did you get/buy the door handles from?

They were included in the kit, they are on the chrome tree parts.

After everything is painted I switch over to dollar store super glue, it works wonderfully
