The idea of Frank being isekai’d into mtg and just having an aneurism about all the “Muties” seems hilarious to me.

I think this deck is really creative, I honestly wouldn't have thought about building the deck like this

Pretty sure that WOTC changed the rules a while back that stated, if your commander dies it does go to the graveyard first no matter what, and then you can choose to put it in the command zone after that, or leave it in the graveyard. They did that so a commander's dies trigger will happen and you can still return it to the command zone. I might be wrong, tho, so definitely check it out for yourself.

Hey thanks for making this! I also wanted to make a superfriends build for Frank and was having a hard time focusing in on which planeswalkers to run, I really like the gameplan you've got with lots of spell-based ramp and sweepers to be able to go so creature-light (and therefore walker-heavy). I definitely feel like superfriends decks are at their best when you can jam in so many walkers that even with an open board your opponents will have a hard time choosing which one to attack (reminds me of the COmmodore Guff precon in that sense). Lookin forward to playing my own take on Frank Superfriends now that you gave me some ideas!

I love your videos man! They're really professional and well edited/laid out. Thanks heaps for this, will definitely bring this to my FNM soon.

Wow love this take. This card was just too mana expensive in my Mothman deck so I cut it. And I also have basically everything needed from a Golgari deck I dismantled, except the Planeswalkers. I'll give this a try!

Cool deck and here I just went TOXIC, Fyn is like the lieutenant in the deck with Deathtouch creatures as back up for all the toxic creatures, than just proliferate ;p

Is there a cheaper option to build a similar deck?

This video is awesome, but I have a question about the equipment's usefulness if we are going to be destroying everything so often. Wouldn't they just be destroyed with the artifact wipes?
@AbsoluteCardboard9 ай бұрын
Yes, though that’s mostly intentional. They are included as a way to get haste onto AFH, which translates to 4 populate in that one turn. So in general I wouldn’t just throw them out until you are sure to be casting AFH within the next turn or so. Then after their haste is used up, their value decreases and they’re just collateral damage for the wipes.

@@AbsoluteCardboard Ok that makes a lot more sense I guess I didn't listen to well to that part in the video. Thank you im going to be trying to make this deck soon because it looks fun.

I actually loved this video! Lots of unique themes here! Im surprised that you didn't lean into poison counters at all but I still love what you came up with! I do have a really good Planeswalker recommendation but youd have to change the deck around to have the blue and red plus likely several tutors to always have Frank Horrigan. But if you could figure it out it may be worth it and youll see why when you read who it is and what he does. Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God has "Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God has all loyalty abilities of all other Planeswalkers on the battlefield. +1 you draw a card. Each opponent exiles a card from their hand or a permanent they control. -3 destroy target creature or Planeswalker. -8 each opponent who doesn't control a legendary creature or Planeswalker loses the game. " He also starts with 4 loyalty counters.

Stack up a poison or two. Give Frank Horrigan haste, proliferate the enemy.
