Here is why you didn’t unlock the Skyline throughout this play through. Depending on the car you choose at the beginning, is dependent on which car you unlock during the late stages of the game. For example; you chose the Camaro at the beginning. Since you conquered all of the territories, you got the Plymouth Cuda. If you were to choose the RX-8 at the start, you would unlock the Skyline. ive started the game with tuner exotic and muscle and unlocked the skyline by this point somethings going on if he hasn't gotten it BUT don't you get the skyline from winning certain zones? or a certain event?

Fun Fact: Actually the sound is pretty accurate that's the old gen murci it has the old 6.2 liter v12 instead of the new gen murci which has the 6.5 liter so it has the deeper sound to it.

If you start with a non-Tuner car for Tier 1, you can only get the Skyline after beating Darius. If you did pick the Tier 1 Tuner, then it's from taking over the area that Wolf's Tier 3 canyon race is in.

Only problem is, you weren't. Once you were back on the streets, Darius couldn't clain your territory. So you kept you territory and now turn to bringing Darius down. Actually Mr Theo, in Canyon events if you pull to far ahead of the opposition then it will give 10 seconds saying "Pulling ahead". If you stay straying too far ahead you win

If you had the corvette or viper you could over take pretty much any car on the mountain challenges. I forgot what they call it but yea in this game the corvette is easily the best car to use.

Well well well, we all know you just can’t drive under pressure because I just beat Darius with a Gallardo in 1 attempt, it took my 5 attempts when I last did it with a Murcielago. People say the Gallardo is slower (which is true) and it handles like the fire truck from Simpsons Hit and Run, but I feel that the Gallardo is actually more nimble than the Murcielago in my opinion

For slip stream once you enable it you have to follow them for 3 seconds then start turning out and disable it at the same time then you'll get a boost. It's not like a realistic splitstream

People are telling you how you unlock cars, but they don't remember, nor check, that if you choose muscle career, you will unlock Skyline only after defeating Darius. Same with exotic. So you can only use Skyline in tuner career.

Using exotics against exotics, especially a murcielago against Darius' Le Mans Quattro, is preeetttyyyy much a disadvantage. I played the game last week, used an Evo against Darius and I luckily overtook him...

Theo, you only get the skyline when you choose the rx8 (tuner class) as your starter car. Basically you chose the camaro (muscle class) and therefore you have unlocked a lot of muscle class cars.

UNLOCKING SKYLINE IN CARBON: It is unlocked faster if you start the career as a TUNER! Then the game is mostly focused on unlocking more TUNER cars throughout the chapters. You started the career as MUSCLE! So you are unlocking more of the muscle with every new chapter in the game! So in TUNER career, when you reach the Darius chapter, the Skyline is unlocked as a Tier 3 TUNER car (or Tier 1, I can't remember the highest number for Tiers in Carbon). Or, it gets unlocked in one of the races or areas unlocked from the Darius chapter, regardless of which style you start as (MUSCLE/ EXOTIC/TUNER).

Oi man you are gonna struggle with the event against Darius BUT you probably should beat him with the murci i finished my first playthrough with the murci and learned best cars in the game are 1.)Nissan 240SX unlock it by finishing a certain event in the challenge series very fast car 2.)Corvette Z06 3.)Mitsubishi Evo 4.)Carrera Gt 5.)Dodge challenger especially if beat angie then wolf and finally race kenji 6.)MAzda 3speed with wing and tune ups it gets you through the start and mid way points of the game very quick 7.)Lotus elise gets you through the 60-80% zone quick
