@@CertifiedForkLiftOperator69420 This year - there are NO excuses. It was kind of a hodge-podge defense anyway last season. Miles had COVID and never fully recovered. The d-backs were all on-call it seemed. They did a good job keeping P. Mahomes in check but this defense is built upon containing the likes of L. Jackson and P. Mahomes. The offense looks incredible and the defense will do it's job this year.

If the defensive coordinator Joe Woods is wise enough to simply unleash Wu (all puns intended) instead of trying to have him work within a frame then I believe that Wu has a very very good chance to be Rookie of the year. I can see Wu wrecking havoc in the offenses backfield like Lawrence Taylor (who by the way was just unleashed as opposed to trying to get him to play within a framework)

The Browns finally have their “Money” down defense. Between the UFA signings, Draft picks and Healthy returners from last season, they finally have their 3rd down defense to get off the field this upcoming season! Their 1st & 2nd down defense wasn’t that bad. But the lack of 3rd down defense was brutal. They fixed their offense last year, now they’ve fixed their defense this year. Kudos to this Front Office, Coaching Staff and Ownership Group for finally figuring it out! Go Browns!!

Well have to understand JOK didn't run a forty time. Than you would say why not? They think he would have run a 4.6 forty time. So teams over value that test, so JOK did not want to run it. But the Browns felt for the linebacker position that was not a issue, anticipation and understand the defense is what make a good linebacker not straight line speed.

Andrew Berry is a great GM, I like his intelligence and poise when making selections to improve the Browns. Last year he fixed the Offensive Line with the additions of Jack Conklin and Jared Wills, this year he fixed the Defense with John Johnson, Troy Hill, Jadeveon Clowney, Anthony Walker, Greg Newsome, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Malik Jackson and Andrew Billings. Next year he will probably find a Phil Dawson like reliable kicker.
