While watching you do the math for the blade and edge angles and realizing you need to figure out how to get the carbon fiber to nest everything I was thinking "there's a natural engineer". While watching you carefully saw the foam cutoff in half *BY HAND* I was thinking "there's a reincarnated ancient Japanese swordmaker". Every video is more and more impressive.

He explained how making the edge would be a problem if it needs to be somewhat sharp. A knife edge, atleast, would need an angle that couldn't be achieved with the thickness of the bevel unless the metal is drawn out wider. Makes total sense to me why he explained that portion...

I do floors and things like epoxy never cure in the time given on the product. It's either much quicker or so much longer. We did a final coat on a floor and dry time was 15min. In reality it was 5min, so we have to work so fast to roll it on before it dried in a pile. Wasnt fun. Temperatures and humidity have a lot to do with the dry time.

Why do you use your angle grinder for grinding the titanium when you have a table grinder? In my experience the table grinder would be far faster and a lot more precise than the angle grinder simply because you control the piece relative to a fixed machine. Additionally the grinding surface on the table grinder is bigger.

The carbon fiber and foam core was the way to go. At this point, how much time/money would you have saved by making the cutting edge out of steel? Would that have been too heavy? seems like a fairly small piece to make too much of a difference.
