In March of 2019, Urban Electric welcomed a small group of friends to Charleston for a series of intimate events including a show-stopping dinner, a panel discussion highlighting preservation as inspiration, and a visit to the 19th annual Charleston Antiques Show all in honor of our guest, The Right Honorable Nicholas E.A. Ashley-Cooper, the 12th Earl of Shaftesbury.
The week culminated in a once-in-a-lifetime long-table dinner in the iconic double parlor of the Aiken Rhett House. For the first time, Historic Charleston Foundation opened up the 1820's era home for a seven-course, seated dinner for 40, bringing the house back to life and celebrating its rich legacy of entertaining and revelry. The evening was lavish, magical and unforgettable. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the building of the Double Parlor Dinner.
