Mr Kenji, I am in awe of your fabulous work with this wonderful model. Your level of dedication and superb execution of each technique provides a wealth of information as well as the perfect solution to each problem which this Dino kit has presented. I am watching the edited full build right now but I will rewatch the extended versions of your clips. I bow to your expertise and am very happy to have discovered your wonderful series of video clips. Thank you so much for producing them !!!

Thank you for your comment. I worked hard to create the Dino that I love, and I'm happy that you enjoyed it. I also think other car and bike videos are interesting, so please check them out as well.
I’m so blown away at the smallest detail becomes a mini-project in itself. The work he put into the dash gauges to the final gloss on the hood badge. Certainly a few things I’d like to try on my next build.

Perfect as ever just wish you do a red Dino one day or silver and black , the dino is one of the best looking cars ever .
Exquisite craftsmanship and execution. So much care and know how. My only question is why yellow and not Italian red?
@kenji-plasticmodels Жыл бұрын
Since the 512BB was painted red, Dino was painted yellow, which is Ferrari's corporate color. I personally love yellow Ferraris.
@MrDarrenp40 Жыл бұрын
@@kenji-plasticmodels Yes, it's not the color, it is the craftsmanship that's important. My wife's a Brazilian national and yellow is their color with these and otherwise this certainly has a Belgian Ecurie Francorchamps feel to it. I too love yellow. However, personally, and for me, then I would have attempted red and really because this car reminds me of my childhood here in England and a UK TV show called 'The Persuaders' in which American actor Tony Curtis was pitched with UK actor Roger Moore. You can search this here on KZbin. Tony drove a red one and this is one of the first sports cars I remember as a 10 year old - a half century ago now. I otherwise love your ambient music backdrop with what sounds to me very much like Japanese structure. The whole movie length experience is a most refreshing and therapeutic escape and stand back from every day life. I'll look out for your other models - particularly the red one - lol

Great idea with the silver coloured paper. Looks very good. Also cool idea with the Hasegawa polish for a clear sight. looks way better now. The main panel is also a master piece. For the seats i would wish me a contrast stitching (Maybe in Yellow) ? Outside of the seats and maybe inside in the middle too, for the next time? ;-) The rest is as always Master class. Respect and thanks for upload and inspire a lot of people includes me.

Without words! But did you sand and repaint with Mr. Color yellow? I would like to know what primer you use and understand how you give clear. Do you give a full coat with spray can and then without waiting the airbrushed Mr.Color as well in a single wet coat? How diluted? Thank you.

Thanks for sharing. I can't believe the condition of the tooling for this kit. I have two bodies from this tool that are nearly perfect. The tool for the kit in this video has been repaired and polished to death. Seek out an earlier issue. Way less bodywork.
Can you please tell me how you attach the parts for painting? And what varnish do you use? how many layers do you cover? How long do you let it dry before polishing?
@kenji-plasticmodels2 жыл бұрын
To bond the painted parts, either (A) remove the paint on the part to be bonded (B) use a versatile bond for woodworking. Please watch it as it has appeared many times in past videos. @@kenji-plasticmodels how long to let the varnish dry before removing the sand?
@kenji-plasticmodels2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the temperature and humidity, but it is better to leave it for about a week.

Hello, great work! I use for the carpet the following way. First wet paint, then flour through a sieve. Let it dry and and than paint again with the carpet color. It works great. Regards from Germany.
In case nobody has mentioned it yet, I would say 'to pour paint into a concave line using capillary action' using the word "wick". I wick the paint into the concave parts. I let the paint wick into the hollows. The paint wicks into the hollows. Wicking is the action by which a lantern or candle wick sucks up its fuel, which is where the term comes from. Hence you would apply paint and allow the wicking action to pull paint where you want it. I hope this explains it well enough.
