So i have a question about these kits! They are the same exact bodies like the "put together" ones that Thomann sells right? Like the JA-60 and so on? Because I am very tempted to buy one of these kits to learn setups and have it as a project guitar so to say. The reason I wonder if its the same as a JA-60 is because I want to make sure that a Dusenberg "Les Trem" tremolo will fit the kit body, because ive seen people put those tremolos on the JA-60 without problem

Hi Mikael, I am not 100% sure if they are exactly identical, but I believe they have the same dimensions, so if the Les Trem fits on the JA-60, then it should fit on one of the kits. It's great fun to make. I would love to see a video of your guitar build.

@@everythingguitar6247 Thanks for the reply! Yeah the only dimension that matters with that trem is that the distance between the stop tailpiece holes are correct, which I think are some what standard dimensions anyway. Maybe ill record some of the process! I have alot of plans for it haha

@MikaelKonradsson hi, yes they are soapbar P90 pickups. It would be quite straightforward to buy better pickups and add them.

Stop messing about. Drop a high output active humbucker in the bridge position and hook that shit up to a high distortion amp and a cab loaded with vintage 30s and chug heavily. The world needs balls out metal not wet the bed P90s music.

Now that sounds like a good plan! 👍 It's my first P90 guitar. I bet if I turn the volume up loud enough, it will sound pretty awesome.
