You’re so talented man. I’ve watched so many of these and they never get old. The organization, the perfect soldering, the cleanliness of the wire placements. I’ve used your videos as tutorials when I do any installations of my own. Just wanted to show some support because these are some incredibly awesome!

I like the way the weathering on the brass came out. Great job, dude.

Yo, I really needed to see how you weathered the brass. Thanks for covering it clearly. Subbed

I’ve currently have two sitting around, just have to get through my video backlog first before I build them! It’s a Desert Wanderer master chassis and an OWK2 master chassis 😁 I also have one surprise project… which will be even better than a master chassis 👀

Came out tastefully awesome man! What did you use to glue the red accent pieces on the hilt? And does it matter what side you clip the legs off the buttons?
@averycastillo7 ай бұрын
Thanks! For the red accent pieces I used very tiny dabs of loctite. It works pretty well, I only had one come off but I added slightly more loctite and it stayed. E6000 would work too I imagine, maybe a bit better but might be messy. It would be easier to clean though. For the button legs, it matters a little bit. They sort of come in pairs, and you need only one of each pair to work. You just have to figure out the pairs and cut off the superfluous ones. If you look at the underside of the buttons you’ll see a line going from one leg to the other, those two are paired together. You can get rid of one of them. As long as the two legs you use aren’t connected to each other you’ll be fine. Hopefully that helps, not sure if I described it well, but I think I cover it in my in depth tutorial on how to build a neopixel lightsaber. It’s an hour long but I tried going over everything I could think of

Oh my gosh whattttt this hilt is insane! Is it kind of Kylo Ren inspired; I’m saying this because of the red wire on the side 😅
@averycastillo5 ай бұрын
It’s a lot closer to the concept art of kylo’s saber! If you look up “kylo ren concept lightsaber” on google you should be able to see it

Hi Avery. Another great demonstration. Would you happen to know if the proffie board prefers an 8ohm speaker over a 4 ohm?
@averycastillo7 ай бұрын
The proffie handles both really well, but definitely go with the 4ohm 👍 It’ll be way better in every aspect
@leeskelton97157 ай бұрын
@@averycastillo thanks. Is that the case even if you use a 3 watt or higher speaker and crank up the volume ?

Does the brass black stays in your hand if you touch it after “it’s completed”? Awesome job with this one man
@averycastillo7 ай бұрын
Thank you! I think it must come off to some degree, but I haven’t noticed much since I don’t handle them constantly. I did some aluminum black work on a kestis saber before, and I learned that really came off a lot. So it needed some sealant. But even if the brass black comes off, I actually really like the look of it since the yellow comes out more. I like it a lot better actually
