It really depends on what project! The hilt is the biggest cost, but there are cheap hilt options if you want them. But on average it’s at least $250-$350 for a good replica hilt, and $150-$200ish roughly for parts and chassis. This is for a replica hilt with neopixel tech and proffie or cfx (cfx is more expensive). If you want to make a great neopixel lightsaber for cheaper, go for a cheaper hilt with basic parts. Head over to thesaberarmory, check out their hilt+diy kits and look at the prices. They include everything except a blade and battery charger

Nice work. I suppose I should try a CFX build some day. It just has taken a lot to get comfortable with Golden Harvest software. Is CFX software very complicated?

CFX software is very easy! Especially with crystalfocus.net and the manual. I think I remember hearing that GH boards are actually super similar to CFX when it comes to software… I could totally be misremembering though

@@averycastillo No, you're right. A lot of sound fonts have GH and CFX in the same folder. You just have to add a settings.txt file and change a couple file names. I'm wondering if the two boards are about the same in features.
