About Brian Barczyk:
Brian Barczyk was a passionate wildlife enthusiast and vlogger who dedicated his life to sharing his extraordinary journey with animals on KZbin since May 10, 2016. His remarkable adventures led him to be part of TV network series, produce “Brian In The Wild” a documentary in South Africa, travel globally to encounter incredible animals and their advocates, initiate “Checking In” a podcast, establish “AnimalConUSA” a convention for animal content creators and their fans, and create The Reptarium - an interactive reptile zoo in Utica, Michigan, among many many other achievements.
In March 2023, Brian faced the greatest challenge of his life with a diagnosis of inoperable Pancreatic Cancer. His strength, courage, and the unyielding support of the incredible #ReptileArmy community inspired him to continue sharing his story and pursuing his dreams, even in the toughest times.
Brian's vision for the LegaSea Aquarium & The Reptarium, a symbol of resilience and the power of dreams, is now a legacy that his crew and family are devoted to bringing to life in his honor. As we break ground on this expanded facility just across the street from The Reptarium, we embrace this mission as a testament to Brian's indomitable spirit.

I think a lot of people don’t realize that she was the backbone of the their entire operation before Brian even became sick. He was afforded the ability to be the face of their business because he knew Lori would hold everything down.

I also always enjoyed it when Brian included Lori in his daily VLOG. It is truly an inspiration for so many young woman to see Lori in her position of leadership at LegaSea. She is quite a bit more than capable of holding her own when it comes to being the “boss-lady”, as well as being the one who has to make so many of the final decisions when it comes to the Reptarium, the LegaSea, and all the people & animals that go together with both the old and new facility. I sure hope Lori knows how much of an inspiration she is to girls who want to run a business, or to rise to the point of being a CEO/COO someday. She shows them that she can be a Mom, a Nana, and the boss all at the same time, and she makes it look easy even when she has to face difficulty after difficulty? 🤔 She shows these young girls that she truly can do it all at once, and that she may not always have all the answers, but she will get there and/or find them eventually. Even if she has to try several things before finding out the perfect solution when a situation requires it.

Great Vlog!!! Jay, Lori, Connie, A.J., and the Rest of the Reptarium Family, Also Special Guests: Jeff, This is where I feel Lori is Best utilized. Out front creating the Legasea Aquarium Vision. If someone wants to learn how to Breed the Ball Pythons. This is a perfect time to learn the the paper work documentation. Also how to Breed the Ball Pythons successfully. Since this project is starting off slow anyway. If Someone wants to learn how to Breed the Geckos until Jessica returns that would be Great as well. Connie and the Reptarium crew have done an Amazing job rearranging the animals at the Reptarium.The enclosures look Amazing. Jeff be careful with the saw. I hope that the leak is fixed. I hope the Bug Wall doesn't give You any drama. The floor should be high traffic. They should have a few suggestions for deep cleaning companies to detail the floor once or twice a year. Also a list of the cleaning supplies that can be used on the floor. How are they going to protect the drains from anything going in them? Remember!!! Enjoy the Process!!!

This is insanely surreal😂 I just got back into the videos when I got my first snake about 4 months ago, and when i started watching the videos again, Legaseas progress day by day is 100% the highlight of my reptile experience.
