Great videos. I'm wondering if anyone has found an electric motor for this thing. I realize it would probably take a lot of tinkering to put it in, but it might be fun to try.
@leokessels8810 ай бұрын
You could do a search on KZbin. Surely there is someone who has motorised this marble track. I myself once powered one of my marble tracks with a steam engine. There is a video of that on my channel.

My parents just gave this set to my daughter for a birthday present. She's turnIng nine. I think I'm going to end up more involved with this project than the lego builds.

I think this kit is a bit difficult for a nine-year-old. But then again, you can always help. Have fun building.

My pieces broke, what can i do to fix them?
@leokessels882 жыл бұрын
Fix it with wood glue. And be more careful next time

You don't know your own power 😉💪. I've said it a few times: be careful, use controlled force.

Gracias.
@leokessels882 жыл бұрын

Do you need wax when build this?
@leokessels882 жыл бұрын
Yes. To lubricate the moving parts.

It seems to me that a VERY small drop of glue on each joint would make the completed item more long-lasting. Has anyone actually done that and did it make a difference, or is it simply not worthwhile?
@leokessels8811 ай бұрын
In my opinion, there is no need to glue all parts. Only if something is broken or otherwise really won't stay in place. There is a risk that you glue something and later find that it needs to move. Or you misplaced something. Then it is difficult to correct.
@richardferguson445711 ай бұрын
@@leokessels88 thanks Leo. I was only concerned that the inertia of the steel balls might pop joints apart over time. Good videos of yours. Thanks for your help.

If anyone is thinking of buying this don’t pieces break so easily it’s really faulty sometimes the Marble doesn’t fit in between the black strips of wood 1/10
@leokessels88 Жыл бұрын
No one has claimed that these kits are easy to build. You just have to be careful when breaking out the parts. And if you have to use force, use careful force. It is indeed sometimes thin plywood. But then you also know you have to be careful. And if something doesn't fit, or the marbles don't run freely, you probably didn't follow the building instructions properly somewhere. Many people have also built this kit and - like me - are totally happy.

@leokessels882 жыл бұрын
