What else would you like to see on the channel? I'm absolutely committed to getting the van done, but I'm very open to making other content too. Some of my ideas are a workshop tour, making some metal saw horses, perhaps even visiting a friend at his forge! Let me know your suggestions below!

All of the above please 👍👍👍. Love blacksmith work so the forge would be great. Maybe some info on where you get your inspiration and ideas from would be great as well 👍👍

How you going to make openings in them cupboards ? Great vid as always hope you get better soon. All the best 👍

I’ll make three openings of equal width (each opening will have slightly different depths due to the shape of the wall) and add a 6mm deep rebate around the top edge of each opening. Then I’ll make some lids out of 6mm ply with finger holes that drop in to the slightly larger rebate, so that they sit flush with the cupboard top. Thank you, already feeling a lot better since my very groggy outro the other night 😂

Looks great, but the only thing that i never would use in a van build i a nail gun. In my opinion is it that when you are driving the van the wood would bent and turn also. So i am affraid for the nails coming out of the wood. I could be wrong 😉 .

That’s a good point - I think I should be fine because the purpose of the nails is more to hold the plywood in place whilst the glue dries, much like if I was using clamps. But yes, if I was using the nails on their own I think you’re correct!
