Joey D damsel Especially Road constructions... Reason being that these roads need regular maintenance and it's not easy for the government to keep up... Hence, self repairing roads would reduce maintenance cost, accident rate caused by bad roads as well as traffic jams... Just my 2 cents anyways...

It's quite possible that construction drones would reduce the available jobs in the field of construction, but it would mostly be the unskilled part of the process. There will still be a need of engineers, architects, electricians, plumbers... not to mention drone maintenance (plus, indirectly, in drone construction). If the population increases, the demand would be a lot higher, so, we might be dealing with a large decrease in the need for unskilled labour and an average increase in the need for skilled labour. Skilled labour is better paid and requires education (more indirect jobs in that field, as well), so all in all, this field would have more people who are better paid and better educated, and fewer who are underpaid for jobs that often deteriorate their health. Wouldn't that be a good thing?
