No. Don’t tighten it to tight. Should be fine. I have a 34 inch Alienware oled monitor mounted on my Lagkapten and I have no issues, and it’s lighter materials then this countertop , if anything just use a reinforcement when clamping something to the desk, Amazon has nice steel brackets you can use to balance out the weight and they come in bigger and smaller sizes. I bought a steel one which has a top and bottom piece to hold my monitor mount on and I have had no issues. And the monitor is much heavier than a mic arm

Not ultimate to me. Ultimate = my desk, designed, cut, glued and screwed by me from bare wood. Hidden plank under the desk, 40 out of 80cm, with hidden cable guide and 2 removable poles for the Atmos overhead speakers and space for 2 keyboards.
