Hahaha, little bike with big rig lighting. I love it, reminds me of my C70 days but would not be legal here in the Netherlands. I'm 1,92 and made a side panier for my one eyed Jack Russell, everybody wanted a picture. Especially the Oriental tourists, of the white giant on his little red rocket and his side kick😊

Add a small "battery tender" solar panel to keep the 12v battery up to par.

That is one of a kind. Nice work. I take it you're more road oriented than trail which makes me wonder if it affects your speed on the street. My '78 can't get over 50kph on the flat and is totally geriatric on the hills.

I’m able to get this factory engined bike up to 65 to 70 km an hour. She don’t like hills or even slight inclines, I have since bought A 1978 Honda CT 90 with a 1985 Honda ATC 125 engine. Way better for caring my 235 pound body around👍

Don't add the rack. The trunk looks good but too much weight added already.

Those tail piece boxes make a small bike susceptible to cross winds

I hope you put the rack on the tailtrunk!

Are you able to rest your back on the back pad?
@Davesgreatideas Жыл бұрын
Yes, the cushion on the trunk acts as a nice comfortable back rest

Yeah, add the rack. Just wondering how that battery will be charged and how long it will last.
@Davesgreatideas2 жыл бұрын
Because I don’t drive much at night and use the auxiliary lights, the battery could easily last weeks for charging my phone. I will charge the trunk battery with a trickle charger overnight as needed. :)

Awesome that's a great little trunk. I think the rack might be excessive on top plus opening might get too heavy or clunky. I think go without add a front rack if you need more carrying space or soft panniers? Anyway cool idea solid video. Like the ct90 stuff keep it coming 👍

A coupling nut would work much more betterer than a stack of washers. Prolly cheaperer and environment may or may not thank you laterer.
