As someone who used to lived around an hour or two away from the Redwood Forest, I can confirm how accurate this is. Mainly with the amount of trees which is my main problem with the OG set. The redwoods have tons of huge trees, and the set has 2 tiny trees

You could also like disassemble parts of the front, and like scatter them around and in front of the tree. Im gonna boy two of these sets so I can make my own version, more compact and like extremely detail focused. Already gathers a few pieces for the trees and brown hinges for the flames.

Ewok Village. 7 more inches (24 studs) in height for the bottom portion of the trees, and expanding the platform by 10 studs wide (blue to yellow) and 16 studs long (blue to red). Scales nicely with the 10/11 inch at-st, and would look nice behind the larger speeder bike chase

I was able to get two of them for $45 each at that flea market and I will say I did enjoy building it. I'm thinking about modifying the tree designs and adding on to them, maybe double or tripling their height and adding more foliage. Apparently somebody at Lego likes pruning all the Lego trees. I've always liked the scout trooper (My favorite action figure) ever since I was about 11 years old in 1983 when Return to the Jedi came out. I was in 4th grade and our teacher used to pronounce Jedi; Jeddy, I think she was just having fun with it though.

You should see the lego city wildlife rescue sets they did, they used those ugly large half-cylinder pieces for the trunk and then added tiny foliage pieces 😂. It's strange how they cut back on the size of trees. I calculated the cost of one of my large oak trees to be around $23, but it's huge and I bought the pieces in bulk. I think something even half the size would be enough, and only cost like $12. Coniferous trees have even less foliage, if you compare deciduous ones by the same height. Designers are prolly like: "The trees aren't the focus of this set, therefore they shouldn't even look like trees"
