Great Telecaster build! I built a 72 deluxe style telecaster. Painted the body sparkle blue and put a one piece fender Mexican Maple neck on it. Used gold hardware prails, hard tail strat/tele bridge and bent saddles with white pearl pick guard. It’s an amazing guitar. I love custom builds. My tele on just the rails sounds like a hot rodded traditional tele and on the p90’s such bluesy goodness and the full humbucker is fat. All guitarists should get a chance to do their own build!

The Chopper T has a strong Tele sound. I would recommend the Dimarzio Super Distortion T. I rounds out the sound a bit and makes the Tele sing. I use one with the same Hipshot Bridge.
@thein-tele-gent56546 жыл бұрын
Why? Why do you have to create a video with that much raw deliciousness? The neck looks like it plays amazingly. The slow reveal of the tuners on the neck just about did me in, and that Chopper T bridge is FIERCE, I love it! The P90 with switchable magnets is a really nifty idea as well. But one last time to the Chopper in the bridge, Dang! Was that the Blue Angel wailing away? The combination of that guitar and that amp is Ridiculously good. Thanks for sharing a really really cool build, Darrell! I would love to see any advice you have for properly setting a new neck into an old guitar body. You make it look too easy!

This was a great vid. I bought the Warmoth maple 1 7/8 nut width. This was only available with Warmoth. I installed it on a Nashville Telecaster. Because of the Tex-Mex pickup system and the sensational neck it is the best guitar, equal to the "Behind The Glass" showcase guitars at Guitar Center, I have ever seen. It's heavy too! That guitar looks rock solid.

I typically enjoy your vids! This was an excellent build. I like the pups you upgraded as well. @DarrellBraunGuitar6 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes. That is a common thought, but has not been my experience. The pickup winder recommend them as well. I think it comes out of the reputation of high gain ceramic based active pickups which are indeed quite cutting ☺
