So I guess it's just a RWD EV swap from a P85 or something? It'll still be crazy fun, because electric motors provide an absolutely unreal torque curve, but AWD is really where EV performance is at. I am looking forward to people figuring out how to shoehorn other non-Tesla EV drivetrains into their cars. Kia's EV6 has a pretty nice AWD drivetrain and decent battery capacity, though there's far less aftermarket support for getting other brands of EV equipment functional compared to hacking together Tesla bits. I'd be a bit tempted just to do an entire drivetrain and loom conversion. Modify the body panels to accept all the stock sensors and transplant them. Modify the lighting system to accept the LED kit from the Tesla. Modify the dash panels to accept the heater core and AC evaporator along with the blower, head unit, and all of the other components from the Tesla. The only thing you wouldn't want to keep is the stock suspension, because you can do better. While I do really like the iPad dash kit, because it's actually an upgradable part, it would be super convenient to rock up to a Tesla supercharging station with a car that identifies as a Tesla.
