Since the turn of the century, HWA has developed several road cars for AMG, including the Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet, the CLK GTR, the SL65 AMG Black Series, as well as many of AMGs racecars. There is a rumor that the opening drum track on the VH song Hot for teacher is actually Eddie Van Halen’s Lamborghini Mura’s exhaust at idle. The story goes that they recorded the exhaust and Eddie’s brother Alex drummed over it. I bet it was that very car you have that played uncredited on a hit song. I don’t know maybe that ups the value? Congratulations on the new partnership. Love the channel.

The original AMG Hammer would really be the start of the restomod concept, or Sleeper, in my mind, if you check the hugely impressive performance figures even by todays standards 180mph 4 door, then realise these were achieved with a 2.4 ratio diff. Its even more impressive

John, the e30 m3 is the most successful most winning dtm car not the mercedes! As much as i love the 190 evo, bmw created the e30 m3 in less than 14 days and it dominated for the next 9 years
