I love that the Voyager Class has aged so incredibly well. Hope they stay in service for years to come!

I got this DVD when I sailed on the Adventure of the Seas in 2003 and have been looking for this video ever since!

Wow! We just booked voyager of the seas, our first time cruise, we saw reviews saying it’s one of the older and smaller ships. I felt a little disappointed at first.. but it’s crazy to think that a mere 23-24 years ago it was the worlds largest ship! I wanted to go on a cruise so bad when I was a kid and this ship came out when I was about 10. This changes my perspective completely. I’m basically living the high life my parents couldn’t afford when I was a kid 😂❤ and the documentary says they are competing with Disney… that makes sense since we decided to cruise with our children because it looked like a fun vacation that was a lot more affordable than Disney world. We are so excited to go!

Once uppon a time was the largest cruise ship in the world. But today most largest surpases him for more 100,000 tons!. Aniway, voyager of the seas was impressive at the moment of his first travel. I remember i see a brochure of this ship and i and my friends feel a deep admiration for his size and design.

The CEO talking about building a house, and on the small end he says 6,000 square feet 😯

Considering he was the CEO of royal Caribbean, I’m sure that’s how big his house is. 6-7k square feet is mansion status!

Voyager of the Seas is a baby compared to the new Oasis class and Icon class ships of today.

Watching this now in 2022 is almost hilarious, seeing how this ship was designed in 1996 with pens and paper and primitive computers (as opposed to VR screens and CAD design stations)…all for a ship, the Voyager class, that has LONG been passed by as “the state of the art” and “Royal Caribbean’s BIGGEST SHIP EVER” and is now considered “old and boring “ compared to the Quantum and Oasis class ships (and maybe whatever the heck the Icon class ends up being!)
