Is it fine to leave co2 systems on overnight or should they be turned off?
@MDFishTanks10 ай бұрын
@@guessingwsly6018 depends on the system. Pressurised co2 need to be shut of with a timed solenoid valve. yeast systems apparently don't produce enough to cause problems so I've heard they can be left on overnight. To be honest, it all depends on how much you are dissolving in the water.

@@DashDrones yeah I just commented on his video. We pretty much do the same thing, lots of nutrients capped by sand which has been happening in the hobby for many many decades. I just don't pull it to the front of the tank as I feel it ruins the aesthetic and creates a better under water view illusion, but that's just my take.

Sounds scary. Take your time and "measure twice before the cut". Sturdy stand was half the planning for my large tank. Originally I thought about wooden stand, then I went with classic steel box design, 30x30 mm profiles with 3mm width, wood cover and thick planks underneath to distribute the weight over larger area of the floor.

Nice depth front to back for scaping. 36Lx18Dx19H. I'm excited. Much as I would love an 8ft tank, I do not have the space, my landlord would prob throw a fit...and certainly don't have the budget lol
