Trying out a new way to ship large boards easy and cheap! So far a few 4'6", 5'0", and 5'6" have been cut. Working on the large 6'. Build video will come next!

You have a video of the board being used with wing...like to see it in minimum winds planning and then popping off water. The boards I see from major are not flat

...not flat at bottom. Some have cuts at bottom end or long grooves on bottom

That looks great as always. Which CAD/Cam and which cutter do you use? Can you show how you develop something like this on CAD? that would be super interesting too

I Use Fusion 360.... its pretty difficult to shape out a board, however I mainly loft shapes and after a while you get pretty good at it!

@@clearwaterhydrofoils4313 Try that with Fusion too, but I'm not really getting anywhere. making a solid from an outline and a long section is no problem. But adapting the block to cross-sections with rail, concave doesn't really work for me

@@sebastiangeitner6955 For the concave I created a separate lofted body and then "cut" it into the board to cut out the concaves if that makes sense. Probably not the best way but it works

Nice shape! whats the volume on that 4'6" board? 10lbs is pretty good.

Last I checked it was 66 liters... it may have changed a bit though.

@@willembrussow309 Lots of supply chain issues with resin and foam which was a huge problem the past few months but things are on the way back now.
