Funnily enough, neither of my kids are that interested in driving. My boy is 14 and you'd think he'd be chomping at the bit for a scooter, but he doesn't want one - not in the least bit interested.

Nice to see someone of the younger generation taking up modeling. Great to see you have her interested. I've often wondered how our hobby would continue when some of us old fellows hang up our brushes. I'm in my 60's and it'll be awhile yet for me. Good job, young lady. I've never tried tube acrylics. Going to have to give them a go. A devil of a lot cheaper than traditional model paints. Good job, folks.

Thanks. The artist acrylics are fine for this kind of thing but you can't really paint a decent model with them. I tried it before and the results were questionable. They just don't have the pigment load a modelling paint does.

In my experience on film sets, the kids are more professional than a lot of the adults these days :-)

Came out nice :) It's interesting how the 3d print makes an Ordnance Map out of an uneven stone floor.

It certainly does. There are techniques for true 3D printing that allow the print head to move in all three axis simultaneously, but I believe it's still quite experimental and requires a lot of faff to set up. I don't think it'll be too long before it becomes a standard feature though.

She's a keeper Dad. The whingeing is cute, but then, I'm merely enjoying the banter, not trying to provide instruction. BTW, whingeing (sp.?)was a new word to me.
