To me the fact that there weren't styled rooms in this kit suggests EA was not willing to pay the creator to make those rooms, so this smells like the flat fee wasn't probably great either.

Every time, I'm reminded that renovating in The Sims is so much better in real life. No paint drips, no torn wallpaper. It just goes on BAM, one and done. I wish it was like that in real life so I could just make the walls of my room blue, no moving furniture, no paint smell, no hassle.

Yeah it really seems like they should have better internal systems for things like that. It really seems like they still manually organize everything in the shop, which is incredibly silly for such a large company like EA.

I watched your video and really loved your build. However I commenting because of your comment about using platforms as stairs. There is an alternative reason besides the look of the platforms. Puppies and Kittens from the Cats & Dogs expansion pack are unable to climb stairs. it's a real pain having your puppy or kitten get stuck outside or on one floor. However, both puppies and kittens CAN climb platforms. You can call your build pet friendly! :)

I’m sitting here trying to watch this stream, and identifying so much with Simsie while Snap is prowling around trying to jump into her lap. I was having the same problem at the same time, except mine is a male Doberman who weighs 94 lbs. He doesn’t care, he thinks he needs to be in my lap. And is a lot of the time!

How about Haute Kitsch for the name of the home....the only thing I don't like is that the rug and fireplace do not have plain swatches with regards to the checkerboard part perhaps use plain solid colours that match the colours. I love everything else about it, having a complete set is awesome. I remember being able to download from amazing creators when they would have all house items that matched in style with multiple colours. Do you think that the issue with ladder/fall is because of the lack of tile space, its too close to the fence.

It's unfortunate that sponsorships and company/creator contracts aren't more widely and openly talked about so that new creators or those who've not worked in a sponsorship before have a better idea what to negotiate. I understand the companies likely have a clause (or culture) to discourage this openness, because it benefits them. And, with regards to the work being done by only one person, I can't imagine EA would ever pay enough for that. Honestly, those creators should see a 60% or more commission on each purchase since they did majority work. I don't think we should ever trust companies to be fair, it's literally not in the interest of the market to be fair.
