I sectioned off 4.5 hours of my day so that I could fully give her my attention. I am so grateful to you for sharing your knowledge. I grew up making tinctures and tonics with my mother whom is Native American. I am mixed Black and Native and I find so many similarities between these two cultures and the information I've learned from you and other european herbalist. Thanks for sharing with the people, for we are all one. Be blessed.

Since my daughter was a baby, I opted for herbal remedies over anything over the counter. She's 15 now, and without my even saying anything she'll peel garlic and stick a clove in her mouth for a sore throat or congestion, grab chamomile if she has an upset stomach or can't sleep, and will rub peppermint oil on her stomach if it's not feeling the best. I have switched her to cordyceps, iodine, magnesium, and shark cartilage, cinnamon, and cayenne making her own capsules for her Hashimoto and has already started feeling the relief in her body, compared to when she was being prescribed medication that was making her sicker. Never underestimate the power of nature. We just have to keep our hearts open to the possibilities, do research, and tinker with what works best for our own bodies. Stay healthy, all!

That is the dream life I finally have! The exposed beams in my house never look quite right with plants hanging though😂, and then I learned to cure them with a dehumidifier instead of hanging to dry. The plants also got a bit dusty hanging there. And bits of plant material have to be swept up. But hey, I'm a lass from the lower class and we got our farm house. Built in 1880 and cost 100,000. Just come to the country.

I loved this video and the information shared. The only thing I might suggest is that if you are using canning jars, you really should wash them before just filling them straight from the box. They can have machine oil residue in them from the assembly line and you should always wash the jars and lids before filling with food or medicine.

I put raw honey on my dog when she got some kind of skin problem and was digging her skin into it bleeding. I spread the honey on the raw skin and put cheesecloth over it so she would not lick it off. The honey healed the skin within a few days and the hair started growing back. I love, love honey and I put it in my coffee and my hot tea now instead of sugar.

@Sir Nicholas D why? So the animal would be give toxic drugs (all which were once derived from plants anyway but needed to be synthetically derived so they could patent them because its all about money) and vaccines???? You. Dont. Get. It. Read more. The vet is just an allopathic doctor for animals. Allopathy is over reaching and most often ineffective. Why does your programming hold it in such high regards? Its ignorant to do that. My pet will never see a vet again. I have treated her very effectively for any issue that has come up in a natural way and she is better off for it. I love my pet so much that I am willing to find out how to care for her....unlike people such as you who dont care much and just bring their pets to some pathetic excuse of a vet to give them steroids and benzos and antibiotics instead of CURES and CARE.

I really enjoyed the whole video but I have a question. Do dry ounces equal liquid ounces in a recipe? I know 2 Tbs of liquid equals one ounce but isn't one dry ounce of dry herbs going to be more than 2Tbs? I would hate it if it is. That would mean my herbs for my herbal tea for my allergies were in excess of $300. 😮

I'm not yet very far into this stuff so i have to study this video some more to process all the information. I also have a suggestion! Why don't you do an oldfashioned home economics style cooking course? So many, especially younger people have no idea how to cook. I'm so furtunate i'm in Europe and most people still learn how to cook at home as a matter of course, although that's rapidly changing here too. A basic soup, a basic stew, a basic stock, a basic mash, a basic roast, a basic stirfry, the basics of kitchen cleanliness, the basics of chopping, stuff like that. Do consider, thanks!

sister saffire - the “blessings” she and her family need are Truth about the Spirit of Truth which is not of this world. The many false gods and misleading spirits she refers to can not save her soul. When she talks about the “spirit” of the plant, she’s not talking about characteristics of it’s qualities. She worships the creatures of the earth rather than God who created it. There’s a difference and they’re not the same. God made the plant. God is not The plant. These false gods offer what is temporal and not eternal. GOD of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob, He offers an entirely different future, another land where there is no sickness, no suffering or tears. I enjoy the plants healing properties, but this class teacher makes it clear that she’s not just using them as tools to benefit by & appreciate. She actually worships them in spirit. These spirits are what are referred to in the Bible as familiar spirits. The rocks, the plants, and our broken bodies are moving towards death. They will pass away. All with two eyes and a brain can see that one day, I don’t know when, there will be a big change. This world will pass away but, what is eternal in the soul will remain. Live and worship in spiritual truth, worshiping Father God, The Holy Spirit, God the Son. This world thinks they’re in control of their lives, their surroundings and their destinies. God offers great freedom like a great dad does, but He’s sovereign over all He created. Make sure you know the difference between The Creator and creation unlike this woman. She may know some things about the food we have on earth, but she clearly does not know “God” or His true Spirit.

Loved this! My infusions i leace for a minimum of 4 hrs i loke over night. Decoctions are just reducing your infusions by half by steaming it on the stove never let it get up to a simmer definitely not a boil (you dont want to evaporate or cook of your volatile oils and nutrients). Decoctions are good for very bitter and/or herbs for kids because its more concentrated means u need less of it. For example my self heal, heal all, carpenter's weed, etc (prunella vulgaris has so many names) it has to steep for atleast 1 hr to get the benefits of it) thats just for normal drinking tea. Thats a good all around herb too guys.

Why the Burdock root tincture is cloudy......INULIN. A prebiotic. It varies from plant to plant but when the tincture from Burdock root is cloudy like that it shows high levels of the naturally occuring prebiotic inulin (which is good).

I enjoyed this video very much. Just a couple things. You wanted it sterile, but the first thing you did was sneeze into your right hand and didn’t wash. On your next video I hope you would repeat their questions, because I didn’t hear any of them since none of them had a microphone. I appreciate your video and your wisdom. I learned many things I had never heard about and thank you for spelling these different herbs. You are such a blessing!

I watched the whole thing waiting for that elderberry recipie as see how you make it with adding how much sugar and how you finish off the recipe But you never ended up doing it at all past the boiling berries and water then grinding it. Is there another video or place where you can direct me to see your process? Thank you so much. I really need the support of the elderberries and making this will help me so much as well as my family. Cheers

To the student who wanted to make Lavender oil..I fill a quart jar about 1/2 way with dry lavender buds and fill the rest of the jar with either apricot kernel oil or avocado oil. I shake it once and I place it underneath my wardrobe for about 2 or 3 months. Smells amazing when I strain it to make salve. I simply don't have time to fuss with oils or tinctures by 'shaking it daily, praying over them, holding the jars up to catch moonbeams', ect. I've been making my remedies for 6+ yrs with zero failed results. I can't be sure if I'm extracting the medicinal qualities within the lavender oil, or just the scent, but the smell you described in your oil was probably from the crock pot heating coil. Hope that helps.

I can make what you so graciously showed us and will begin soon. Exciting! Hope you will do more classes.💫

I got to the 41:58 mark and am not sure if I'll continue. I made and sold Elderberry Syrup but now from research I no longer believe in taking it daily. It isn't an adaptogen and it only has a half life of 1.5 hours. So even if taking it daily for immunity, one would need to take every 2 hours, similar to intense usage. Additionally, they shouldn't be boiled, but fermented. The old way of making Elderberry Syrup is a layer of fresh berries, layer of sugar/ honey. It ferments. Thoughts?
