I hope you guys enjoy the new vlog! Sorry it took forever to get around to making this video. What kind of buildings do you use in your dioramas? Do you use pre-built ones or do you create your own?

I create my own, I use actual building blueprints and glue them on cardboard.

The Tomy Tech and Tomix buildings are the ones for me due to the great amounts of detail. They make the display feel very real.

Out of all the accessories displayed in this video, the Tomy Tech and Tomix buildings are the best looking ones in my opinion. So yes, I do agree with you in that regard.

I typically tend to buy tomytec buildings and then add way more on to them. I typically paint them and add more details. For damages buildings I vary up the materials I use and work more towards carving. I've also used some of the figuarts battle damaged buildings but I've customized them way way up. Adding a paint job and even on some adding smoke effects or making the damage pieces look like they are smoldering. Typically now though I just buy building model kits and paint them before actual assembly and customize them that way. The only thing I don't like about tomytec is some of the buildings have transparent windows and they are just hollow so I have to paint over them with black and add some gloss. It all depends really on what I'm going for with my Dio. This video was super informative and helpful. I liked it alot. Thank you for doing it, I always encourage people to experiment with their buildings. Add your own custom paint on a really cheap one and see how you feel about it.

N Scale or 1/150 which is a railway scale, very near to the standard model kit scale of 1/144

As someone who just recently fell down the rabbit hole of buying Japanese buildings (Kato Diotown, TomyTec, Tomix, etc) for my X-Plus, Monsterarts, Neca, HG Gundam etc it can get expensive fast. The cheaper route is to go for chinese offbrand N-scale buildings that you can find on Amazon. search for Outland Models or EatingBiting buildings. They are easy snap-together kits and fit in scale with the stuff I mentioned above.

Tomytec is the way to go. I own all the tamashii bldg sets and while they were good for the time, they can’t compare to the better detailed, more colourful, more realistic Tomytec sets. See also Kato.

Also, for that extra pizzazz, look up the tomytec scenery stuff: bridges, lamposts, trees and the like. Quite expensive for what they are though.

2:24 if I can recall, most heisei sh figuarts are *1:450* scale making the buildings T scale. Z scale is *1:220* 4:22 most ultraman kaiju are around 40-45 ish meters (or about 150 ft) making them *1:300* scale I could always be wrong but these seem like more accurate measurements *P.S* if you want your tamashii or SH monsterarts buildings to have a little more flavor I’d suggest putting decals or even adding some paint to them

I remember your original reviews and took them to heart. Found a really good deal for those Godzilla Effect Set and Toho Weapon Set at a convention once. I couldn't pass those up for what the dealer had them for and nabbed two each. Add them with the Tamashi Option Act sets with the addition to peg the stands flying creatures, aircraft, and effect parts. I really love the two sets of displays I have.

He dude, could you help me out here? I have a marketing question: Products have atributes. Those atributes have a functional effect. The functional effects produces a psychosocial effect. And that psychological effects produces a value. So for soap, it has a bunch of stuff that cleans your clothes without damaging it. If youre a mom, it washes the clothes of your children. If your children are presentable, that makes you happy because you are a responsible mother. Thats how it goes. How does this apply to these figures. I love the diecast figures. I love how you can pose them and they stand by themselves. I feel hyped as hell when i see them in poses from the anime, like the double o quanta. But what is the value? How do action figures improve your life? I still cant figure it out.

Why do you collect anything? Because it makes you feel good. Lol why do people collect moves or games or people collect shoes etc etc etc. It just makes you feel awesome. I love action figures and giant kaiju movies lol for me it helps me stay connected with my childhood. It also comes to me feeling like an incredible action figure is art. Someone takes the time to think about and implement a joint system for figures to move realistically and recreate realistic poses. Someone constructs that and builds it, sculpts it and then it's painted. Who wouldn't want a sculpture that you can move?
