i know this is kerala traditional architecture, different from north indian traditional house plans. but the warmth and the authenticity is so similar in it's sense i started to sob out of nostalgia. i love this house so much, if i'm ever financially capable enough i'd love to live in a similar house :)

Village houses in north are same my great grandmother house is similar. And my grandparents from my mom side also had similar house but modern North Indian houses are inspired from modern American architecture.

This is home. Vernacular focus is appreciated. Combination of colours is incredibly balanced and beautiful. Choice of timber and their design are lovely. Floor tiles are outstanding. I think you should come up with a seperate short video just on floor tiles of this house. Looks unbelievably variegated. This house will give a wholesome experience. Congratulations and God bless!

Really loved the upstairs veranda. Opulent 7000+ sqft house with a very interesting entrance. Would love to visit this place to hv an exterior view.

By far, this has been my favorite home tour South bound. The architect and the interior designer have done such a splendid job. The home looks earthy, rustic and warm. Watching this video was almost like vicariously touring the home in Kerala and experiencing all my senses come alive feeling the Monsoon evening of Kerala. Great videography and a wonderful home at it. Great job guys, absolutely flattering work. Indian Tradition preserved at its best in the home!...

Such a divine lovely colourful awe-inspiring home. The pooja room looks fabulous and so does the wood work the flooring and the curious that adorn this home. The entrance, the central courtyard, the bedrooms, the verandah and the natural light, the greenery, the cane and wood furniture all put together is just wowww❤❤❤. One of the best in this series. The only sore point is the architect walking with her footwear inside the home. While the owner walks around with bare feet the architect walks with her footwear. Comes across as jarring and unnatural in such a divine pristine setting. That apart the wall art, the swing, the pillars the sofas.... I could go on and on... This home is a lovely paradise. Best wishes to the owners... This is truly living in style ❤

Beautiful house. Principal architect talking about athankudi tiles being sustainable is surprising. It's a bunch of thick concrete cement tile and highly dangerous chemical applications for colouring !!!! Nothing sustainable about it. Also too much use of cement and concrete in the house.
