Martin Freeman Speaks On The Film, "Ghost Stories"

In the film "Ghost Stories," viewers experience three spine-tingling tales of terror. A debunker of all things paranormal, Professor Phillip Goodman has devoted his life to exposing phony psychics and fraudulent supernatural shenanigans on his own television show. His skepticism is put to the test, however, when he receives a file of three chilling, inexplicable cases: a night watchman haunted by disturbing visions as he patrols an abandoned asylum; an edgy young man involved in a hellish car accident deep in the woods; and a wealthy former banker ("Black Panther's" Martin Freeman) visited by the poltergeist spirit of his unborn child. Even scarier: each of these macabre stories seems to have a sinister connection to Professor Goodman's own life.

I first saw the play the West End back in 2011. I couldnt sleep after seeing it. I was staying with my sister in law in Putney in her ground floor flat. I couldn't stop thinking about Ghost Stories. I could see the shadows of the trees outside "dancing" through the curtains, which creeped me out even more. 🥴 I didnt sleep until 3am. I loved the film too...it is very faithful to the play. The ending still gets me though *shivers*. I last watched it on the early hours of Christmas morning. I recommended it to my Mom, who got so scared by the ending she won't watch it again!

Not only just an fantastic actor but he also seems very attractive human being. Thoughtful, witty and down to earth... and seriously, judging by the office, the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy, the world’s end, sherlock, fargo etc..his taste is very reliable.
