I'm dutch myself so I really didn't notice..I feel like dutch people often tend to pronounce every word more clearly and of course his general way of using words and his flow might derive from his native language. i also feel like the interviewer is avoiding to mention his name, as she isn't able to pronounce it properly :')..

Louisa van den Brink As an American I would love to hear his Dutch accent. I'm not sure why he decided to lose it altogether.

+Lori Haines ....without an American accent you simply don't get any serious roles in hollywood films as not native English speaker. But he moved to the US with his family, so he invested a 6 years already in his accent with a coach. And his wife sacrified some what her carreer for his. They both worked in film in their home country. So the pressure to get roles and be succesfull for him was pretty high probably.

+Anne B Right. I understand losing the accent when he's working on American films and TV. Would be nice if he were able to keep it a bit when being himself though. His American accent is perfect. There's only one interview I've seen with him, in the early days of Treme, when I could hear a bit of the Dutch still in there.

Never heard of this movie in England. The dawn of woke heroins? There is a documented historical character called The Count St Jermain, who reappears throughout long periods of history; perhaps Huisman could play him?

Assisti a pouco tempo e considero um dos melhores filmes que já assisti, incrível história e enredo, e amei os atores, perfeitos cada um e Blake e Michiel foram mais que perfeito, amei a interpretação dos dois não conhecia o trabalho dessa atriz e amei ótima virei fã já ele já tinha assistido filme mas ele se superou.....amei super indico.
