The Underrated Mountain Hike In Georgia | Trekking Pine Mountain (Cartersville)

Without giving too much away from the video, Pine mountain is one of the most underrated hiking trails in Georgia. The summit view is breathtaking and the trail up was very scenic with cool landmarks. We did the West Loop!
In the "Hiking Epic Trails" series, we find the coolest landmarks on each hiking trail and give them a name. However, some of them already have a name. In order, the landmarks in this video are Rocky Thunderbolt, Rock Face Overlook, Rockies Of The Pine, Pine Mountains False Summit, Esedamine Rock, & Pine Mountains Summit (David Archer Overlook)

This is the best video I’ve seen yet about that particular mountain. I’m doing some research on it. It’s connected to a larger landscape that had significant meaning to the ancient Native Americans.

@@buildthedream77 there are a lot of things that people don’t know about the ancient people who lived in North Georgia. Some of those things are kept quiet for a reason so that people won’t destroy sensitive sites. Other things are kept quiet for other reasons which are not always good. You should check out the mounds sometime.there were people living in the area for the last 3000 years
