Dalton is a city and the county seat of Whitfield County, Georgia, United States. It is also the principal city of the Dalton Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Murray and Whitfield counties.
As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 33,128 people, with the total metropolitan area having a population of 142,227. Dalton is located just off Interstate 75 in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in northwest Georgia and is the second-largest city in northwest Georgia, after Rome.
Dalton is home to many of the nation's floor-covering manufacturers, primarily those producing carpet, rugs, and vinyl flooring. It is home to the Dalton Convention Center, which showcases the Georgia Athletic Coaches' Hall of Fame and hosts a variety of events.

Excellent walking tour of downtown Dalton. I’ve lived here since 1998 and have retired from the Dalton Post Office after 25 years as a city carrier. I love this city and loved my job with USPS. Thank you for posting this video!

If u don't upset the postmaster ....... Maybe . Mostly illegal immigrants the local government takes advantage of.... carpet mills filled with drugs because if the postmaster doesn't report it it didn't happen I guess

Check out eagle Nick audits, you don't want to just walk around the actual city of Dalton government buildings portrayed in this video, recent events show, painfully, just how backwards and out if touch the local government is there. The postmaster was made aware they were missing a federal poster mandatory to be posted, the citizen pointing it out and checking back has been arrested, if u di gi to Dalton do not have an opinion and definitely don't think the police are there to protect u ,they are run by the postmaster and will take your civil rights away at the drop of a hat .... If she says so . Communism is real and right here in GA

Dalton doesn't have a "downtown square". When you go beyond the facade, Dalton is a slum!! Overrun by illegal migrant mill workers. That's the sad truth.
